    Unpaid Internship Position in Victoria

The SEPARATION AND DIVORCE RESOURCE CENTRE is a non-profit organization that has operated in downtown Victoria for 28 years. We provide counselling and therapy in a variety of formats, for adults and children, teens, couples, families, and groups, in addition to legal information and other related services. Over the past year we have greatly expanded our counselling services, and we are presently seeking an unpaid intern to add to our Counselling Team.

The specific involvement and hours of the intern can be negotiated, but should include at least one evening per week for group counselling as well as daytime hours for individual, couple, and family therapy.

You would be working closely with a team of other therapists in a thoroughly positive and welcoming environment. Also, you would be supervised in the following ways: (1) by a Registered Clinical Counsellor in-house, and (2) by an internationally-recognized family therapist (Allan Wade, Ph.D., R.C.C.) in monthly supervision meetings.

The Separation and Divorce Resource Centre is committed to providing the highest standard of service to all clients, of all ages. We rely heavily on teamwork and invite enthusiastic and innovative counsellors to contact us.
