UPCOMING REGIONAL MEETINGS
The B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors has members in all areas of the province of British Columbia, Canada. There are 6 provincial regions, each of which is represented at the BCACC Delegate Council. Regional meetings are held on a regular basis, and provide opportunities for RCCs to network, participate in professional development and to support each other and the work of the Association. REGION 1: North Coastal Region 1 includes all coastal regions of the province north of the Sechelt Peninsula up to and including Powell River, and the northern portion of Vancouver Island which is past but not including Chemainus, including Gabriola Island.
REGION 2: Southern Vancouver Island Region 2 includes all regions of the island south of and including Chemainus, and the Gulf Islands south of but not including Gabriola Island.
REGION 3: Interior South Region 3 is bounded on the north by a line drawn between, but not including, Hope, Westwold, Chase, east to arrowhead near the Alberta border; south to the United States border; west up to but not including Hope. This region encompasses the Okanagan and the Kootenays.
REGION 4: Lower Mainland Northwest Region 4 includes Vancouver, Burnaby, North and West Vancouver, Richmond, Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, New Westminster, all areas up to and including Whistler, and the Sechelt Peninsula.
REGION 5: Fraser Valley Region 5 is composed of Surrey, Delta, White Rock, Langley, Clearbrook, Agassiz, Mission, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, and Maple Ridge, and all smaller communities within these boundaries including Hope.
REGION 6: Interior North Region 6 includes the rest of the province of B.C. north and east from a line drawn between Hope, Westwold, Chase, to Arrowhead near the Alberta border.
