    BC Association of Clinical Counsellors

    Application for Designation
    as a Health Profession
    in British Columbia
    under the Health Professions Act

The BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, together with several other organizations, filed a proposal with the provincial government several years ago to be regulated under the Health Professions Act  (HPA), a key piece of provincial legislation. The goal is the proclamation of a new College of Counselling Therapists, under the Act.

An online version of the history of this endeavor is viewable by following this link. Meanwhile, any breaking news about this topic will be posted here as it comes in to BCACC.
